The Planning Commission & Board of Zoning Appeals meets the first Monday of each month, or as needed, at 5:30 p.m. in the City Office, 324 North Main St., Kingman, KS 67068.
The Planning Commission makes recommendations to the City Commission on matters concerning the zoning regulations governing the City of Kingman and the extra-territorial jurisdiction area. The Planning Commission reviews proposed zoning change requests, reviews existing regulations, and reviews proposed plats and subdivisions for the City of Kingman.
The Planning Commission also acts as the Board of Zoning Appeals for the City of Kingman. The Board of Zoning Appeals considers special use permits and receives appeals dealing with the interpretation of the regulations.
